NEW STUFF IN DISTRO :
LACK OF INTEREST_WEEKWND NACHOS split ep
On this split 7", two household names in the powerviolence genre come together for an instant classic. Lack of Interest return with some of their first new material since the 90s and Weekend Nachos move further in the direction of Worthless with 10 furious tracks of unadulterated hardcore. A must-have for any fan of either band or anybody with a good ear for heavy fastcore.
CAVE STATE st ep
After quality demo is here first ep of this brutal powerviolence like Crossed out/Infest from Usa. This ep is sold out in Usa, we have few copies. Dont wait…..
DROPDEAD_RUIDOSA INMUNDICIA split ep
American DROPDEAD with two more tracks from the same session as the split with CONVERGE. A Fall Of Empires and Last Breath. RUIDOSA INMUNDICIA (Austria) with three unreleased tracks recorded for this split. A reference point musically would be LOS CRUDOS fronted by a raging female vocalist. Current SOTATILA members. Great people, great band!”- comes with digital download
DROPDEAD_SYSTEMATIC DEATH split ep
Brand new split 7" between these two long-running bands. I can't remember the last new Dropdead material that I heard, but this stuff is ripping... not quite as blistering fast as some of their old stuff, but letting the foot off the gas pedal ever so slightly makes things way catchier. As for Systematic Death, they continue on the tear they've been on ever since reforming with two tracks of their patented blistering hardcore. Throw in a Sugi illustration on the sleeve and you need this!
LAST WORDS st Lp
LAST WORDS play heavy raging Raleigh, NC hardcore violence. The band has in their ranks ex-STRIPMINES, ex-DEVOUR, and current members of Raleigh's powerviolence beast ABUSE. Marina's lyrics are angry and introspective and her vocals will shred through the toughest skin. This is definitely one of a few of my favorite NC bands ever.
NEEDFUL THINGS_ROSKOPP split ep
This marks Roskopp’s fifth release. Surprisingly all of them are split seven inches. This sort of leaves a guy jonesing for a full length release especially with the brutality that is brought on this seven inch in particular. Somehow Roskopp crams seven songs of pure soul crushing Grindcore onto their side of this release. I feel this is easily their best recording and split, sonic wise, to date. When I jam this record for people from out of town they will let out a small gasp of shock mixed with jealousy. They are shocked by the insane speed of the drums, crushing heavy guitars and guttural growls. The jealousy is spawned from fact that they don’t have a band like this in their town. The drumming on this record is as hectic as it gets, it is just so super-fast. As the blast beats and punk beats switch wildly back and forth it invokes a feeling of rage, the drums sound pissed off. Mainly there is one belcher of lyrics but occasionally a high pitched screeching vulture will swoop in, let out some deranged squawk, scoop up some carrion in his mouth and fly away. Yup, it’s just like that. Roskopp started off sounding more like Disrupt but have formed into their own original sounding band somewhere between old Napalm Death and Nassum. They seem to be getting faster and gnarlier as the years wane on. The Czech Republic’s Needful Things is similar in the fact that they are head exploding Grindcore but they have a little different feel to their side of the split. I find that there is a little more Death Metal mixed with power violence influence coming from their camp. The punishing vocals vomit out on the higher end, really more of a screeching murderous yell. They give us three songs of well written madness to soak our heads in. I can’t claim a winner to this record. Both bands really bring it on this vinyl, I might lean toward Roskopp more but that is just because I have seen them a multitude of times live. The artwork on the cover is sick as hell. Really cool piece of art. If you appreciate the real shit over mass produced drum triggered tripe then look no further. Beware this is only for people who love true Grind!
SPAZZ - crush kill and destroy Lp
The first in a series of vinyl represses of the long-sold out SPAZZ LPs. Here we got "Crush Kill Destroy," SPAZZ's swan-song recorded back in 1998 and released by Slap A Ham Records. Mastered from the original recording, this LP comes with a full color cover and poster insert.
SPAZZ - Dwarf Jester Rising Lp
The debut LP from SPAZZ originally released almost 20 years ago in 1994! The rarest of the SPAZZ LPs, "Dwarf" is SPAZZ's most stripped down and raw full length, re-mastered and re-released by 625 for all of the vinyl addicts out there.
SPAZZ - la revancha Lp
Next up in the series of legitimate SPAZZ reissues is their "La Revancha" LP originally released on Sound Pollution in 1995. This LP marked a new point in SPAZZ's development - they had found their signature sound and tried to push this to its extreme. 20+ minutes of crazed Bay Area power violence with a CRYPTIC SLAUGHTER cover to boot.
SPAZZ_BRUTAL TRUTH split ep
Spazz was an influential American powerviolence band active between 1992 and 2000. The trio released numerous records within this time, many of which are now highly collectible due to their relative rarity. The band's releases often showcased their unusual sense of humour: absurdly long and nonsensical song titles, audio samples from b-movies and kung-fu films between songs and the occasional use of hip hop beats as well as saxophones, banjos and other instruments rarely associated within hardcore punk. All three of the members shared vocal duties, usually changing in sequence from line to line.
Brutal Truth is a grindcore band from New York City formed by bass player Dan Lilker (Nuclear Assault, Anthrax, SOD, Exit-13, Malformed Earthborn, The Ravenous, Overlord Exterminator, Hemlock, Venomous Concept, Crucifist) in 1990. Brutal Truth was active mainly from 1990-1999, releasing four studio albums during that time including the classic Need To Control. They reformed in 2006, toured the world and released the new album Evolution Through Revolution in 2009. Besides the five studio albums the Brutal Truth discography includes several EPs and rare split singles .
SUFFERING MIND_SIX BREW BANTHA split ep
Damn, this split 7" absolutely slays. This latest Halo Of Flies release pairs up Poland's Suffering Mind and Canada's Six Brew Bantha. Suffering Mind is a Lublin, Poland based band who formed in 2012. Suffering Mind play a spastic and volatile style of grindcore that's sure to please fans of Pig Destroyer and Hatred Surge. On their side of the split Suffering Mind offer up five tracks of ferocious grindcore. Six Brew Bantha is a three piece band from Victoria, BC who formed in 2008. Six Brew Bantha play a ferocious, facemelting, and mind numbing style of hardcore, punk, and grindcore. On their side of the split, Six Brew Bantha offer up four songs of venomous and scathing grind infused hardcore. Overall, this is a killer split 7" and both bands offer up top notch material. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION flexi ep
This is side project people from BRUTAL TRUTH. This one is actually pretty okay - i.e. songs are good and grinding, doesn't sound like shit, comes in a sleeve. Three longer tracks. From To Live A Lie.
